CONEXIÓN is an interior design architecture project located in St. George’s Anglican Church, in the historic center of Venice, in Campo San Vio in Dorsoduro. The project unfolds along the church’s nave and consists of panels made from tobacco leaves, a collage inspired by ancient mosaic stained glass, characteristic of Venice’s great artistic and craft tradition, creating a dynamic space where visitors can rediscover their connection with nature.
The first pavilion we present to you is that of the Dominican Republic “CONEXIÓN”, by the artist and architect LiLeón (Lidia León Cabral) and the art critic Roberta Semeraro, with the commissioner Carmen Heredia de Guerrero, Minister of Culture of the Dominican Republic.
